Comments from WDC: Whilst there is no objection in principle to an extension in the general location, the design, form and relationship with the existing building of the proposed scheme is not an arrangement that is considered appropriate for the building. It takes the form of a modern interpretation of an orangery, which detracts from the character of the listed building. The current proposal is too large and of an inappropriate design. |
