Public: 12 members of the public present at this meeting.
One parishioner spoke in connection with item 4.1 of this agenda. Concerns for privacy – proposed development would look straight into windows of property opposite. Morning sunlight would be blocked by the proposed new building Parking is only for 1 vehicle, rather than two that most properties on this lane have and it is felt that this is not sufficient. The design is unlike any other properties in Littlewood Lane. Concern that there would be reduced visibility of vehicles turning out of the road. There are TPOs on the trees outside the property and there are concerns that this could damage the roots of the trees if built on. The positioning of the proposed building is way too close to the road.
Another resident spoke in connection with item 4.1 of this agenda. Concerns that new residents of the proposed property should have a right to sunlight and daylight. The large trees with TPOs would prevent them from having sunlight and daylight. So concern there would be future requests to either remove or reduce the trees, which would also have a negative impact on the neighbouring properties. There is a badger run that goes through the area of the trees. Also have concerns for overlooking, loss of privacy and increased traffic.
A third resident voiced their concerns over the volume of traffic on this road. Trying to get out of Littlewood Lane and onto the main road is already dangerous and would not want additional traffic added to this.
