Under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Wealden District Council is required to notify the Parish Council if the Parish Council wishes to be notified of planning applications. WDC is obliged to consider any comments made on planning applications by the Parish Council within 21 days of notification. WDC is also required to inform the Parish Council of the results of applications or, if appropriate, the date when the application was referred to the Secretary of Sate for appeal.
The Parish Council The Planning Committee meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th or 5th Tuesday of the month. Members of the public are more than welcome to attend but please check time and venue beforehand.
