Grass Cutting – Buxted Parish Council

In the midst of the Coronovirus crisis, the Parish Council contractors are still carrying out regular grass cutting as far as practicably possible. This will be carried out with care, and cognisant of the fact we need to keep the green spaces usable and looking good for those short periods of time individuals can take advantage.

Pieces of grass that are cut by the Parish Council are:

Buxted Recreation Ground

High Hurstwood Recreation Ground

Ionides Trust (Buxted Surgery) site

Verge at entrance to Littlewood Lane

The Reading Room

Limes Lane Triangle

Verge at entrance to Eight Bells Close

Buxted Park Verge

Verge at end of Gordon Road

Toll Farm Triangle

All other grassed areas are cut by East Sussex County Council twice per year. For more information please refer to the ESCC Highways website: https://www.eastsussexhighways.com/our-services/vegetation
