Wealden District Council – Review of Polling Districts & Places

Wealden District Council is required to complete a full of review of all polling districts and polling places every five years.  The last statutory review was undertaken in 2014.

In 2016 the Local Government Boundary Commission for England undertook a review of our electoral boundaries. WDC, therefore, undertook a full review Polling Districts and Polling Places in 2017, ahead of the East Sussex County Council Elections.  Following on from this review the current Polling District structure and Polling Places were agreed.

They also undertook a review ahead of the Local elections that took place on 2 May 2019.

The Notice of Review, timetable and further details can be found by following the link below;

The public consultation period has now commenced and closes on 11 October 2019. The Council would welcome the views of all residents, particularly disabled residents, or any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability.  Persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as polling places.
