This is a resubmission of application WD/2013/1419/F that was approved on

10/09/2013. The proposal comprises the construction of an extension at first

Floor level and at second floor level over the existing flat roof areas.

Response to Parish Council: The current proposals are almost identical to those

approved under the lapsed permission, WD/2013/1419/F, with the exception of a minor

variation to the pattern of windows to the kitchen and w.c. on the ground floor east elevation. The Parish Council raised no objections to the earlier application and recommended its

approval. At pre-application enquiry stage, it was concluded that it would not be appropriate to regard Heron’s Hall and the church hall as curtilage listed buildings to the listed St John’s Church. However, consideration has been given to whether the proposals would have any impact on the setting of the listed church. Having regard to the scale and design of the proposals and their relationship to the church, it has been concluded that there would be no adverse impact.
