Community Groups and Voluntary Organisations can download an Application form from this link: www.wealden.gov.uk/communitygrants

The Small Grant Scheme is for grants between £500 – £3000.

The Capital Scheme is for grants between £1000 – £10,000.

Service Level Agreements for funding of up to 3 years

Match funding is required, but it can be entirely “in-kind” such as volunteer time, member contributions etc.

A limited number of 40 minute pre-application advice sessions, for groups which have not had one before, will take place during office hours as follows:

  • Willingdon – Thursday 5th October (am)
  • Crowborough Mon 9th October (am) and Friday 20th October (pm)
  • Hailsham – Friday 13th October (am) and Tuesday 31st October (pm)
  • Wadhurst Thursday 2nd November (am) (NB: Disabled access is through the main hall)

Sessions must be booked in advance and are to directly discuss a drafted application for your organisation. Please contact me by email or telephone (01323) 443520.

If you are unable to attend one of the sessions and can submit your application so that it reaches me by 15th November at the latest, I will do my best to give you some feedback before the closing date so that you can strengthen your application (although please note that this will not guarantee success).

Funds must be spent within the financial year April 2018-March 2019 for capital and small grants, and April 2018 March 2021 for SLAs. Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 30th November 2017.

Please contact me if you have any other questions, or if you would like a hard copy of an application form to be sent to you. You are welcome to check with me whether your project is the type of thing we might fund through the programme before you complete an application form, especially if we have recently funded your organisation.
