Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting of 9th May 2017 held at 7.15pm. in the Reading Room, Church Road, Buxted.    



Present: Cllrs Mulvagh (Chairman), Blandford, Rose, Sheard and Miss B Macklen, Clerk to Buxted Parish Council. Also, present at this meeting: Cllr Hall.

Apologies: Apologies were received and accepted from Cllr. Cox, McQuarrie and clerk C. Feltham.







Minutes: The minutes of the meeting of 11th April 2017 will be approved at the next available meeting.


Declaration of Members Interests in respect of items on this agenda

Cllr. Sheard declared a personal interest in relation to item 7.2 (The Rocks) on the agenda due to knowing the applicant.























Planning applications:


Application No. WD/3356/CC (East Sussex County Council)

Location: Buxted C of E Primary School, Hurstwood Road, Buxted.

Description: Extension of 4 bay mobile classroom

No objection, but concerns have been raised regarding the possiblity of any additional traffic movements generated by adding a further classroom. The onus should be on the school to ensure as far is as possible, the smooth traffic movements at the beginning and end of the day.

Location: Holly Farm, Station Road, Buxted, TN22 4DP.

Description: Demolition of existing shed and replacement with new agricultural building.
